Austria: the elections that never quite were

Austria has been trying to elect a president for months now but its plans keep coming unstuck - literally. The most recent attempt fell through because of an ineffective sealing mechanism on absentee ballot envelopes, dragging down the already depressed electoral mood. This is my report on the elections that never quite were.
